The sidewalks of downtown Carrollton will come alive with color and creativity at this year’s Chalk It Up! event, hosted by Carrollton First United Methodist Church. The event will take place on Sunday, September 21 from 3 to 5 p.m. on the square in downtown Carrollton.

This free, family-friendly event invites the community to gather for an afternoon of art and fun. Participants of all ages are encouraged to showcase their chalk art skills, with age-category judging and prizes awarded to winners. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just love doodling in the sunshine, there’s a place for everyone to join in.

 

Adding to the festivities, the Beachside Beanie drink truck will be on-site serving up refreshing drinks and tasty beverages to keep creativity flowing.

 

A limited supply of chalk will be available for those who need it, but participants are encouraged to bring their own to make sure there’s plenty to go around.

 

Come out, bring your family and friends, and help us turn the square into a vibrant canvas of color!
